I took Keegan and Kaitlin to the Draper Temple open house on Saturday. What did they like the most? The bus ride! They liked seeing the "fountain" aka baptism font as well, but just not as much as the bus.
My kids were excited to go, but we went with the ward youth and our assigned time was 5pm. By the time we got through with the entire tour Xavier was asleep in Adam's arms (thankfully he didn't cry himself to sleep because we kept stuffing food into his mouth when he got fussy,) Kenz was taking her shoes off in the sealing room and lying on me, and Ellie just wanted to hold hands with one of the young women! Even though it seemed like maybe not as meaningful as I'd hoped, Ellie and Kenz have been building "temples" for their Barbies ever since:)
