Another car update! Well, it has almost been a month and we are still driving a rental. Thankfully State Farm (the other man's insurance) will be paying for the 3 weeks we have had the rental, the bad news is that our 3 weeks are up tomorrow. We have been out looking everyday since we received our money for our totaled van and unfortunately nothing good has come of our search other than the one van we liked but isn't available to purchase just yet. We have driven all sorts of vans; A van filled with cat and dog hair, vans with way too many miles for it's price, a van that the owner won and has no idea if the van has been reliable, and the list goes on and on. It has been frustrating but eventually we'll find something that's right for our family. And since we don't want to settle for just anything Shannon and Adam are graciously allowing us to borrow one of their cars while we continue to search. Secretly I am hoping that the family selling the 1 van we actually liked, will find a new car of their own on Saturday, so they can sell us their van. But if that doesn't happen than I just pray that we can find something more reliable and pleasant than the ones we have been test driving.
